’59 Reunion Committee Returns for our 50th Reunion on Saturday, August 29th, 2009. 
Chairperson, Bill Curtis, Cindy Buenting Bailey, Carolyn Clune, Barbara Grayson, Mary McIntyre, Ralph Hensley, Mary Bennett, Charlene Allman, Linda Gibbs, Gloria Hijar, Carol Menealy, MaryLou Miller, Christiana Hughes, Ann Garafalo, and Nancy Spitler.

Here are some highlights:

Dates:  Registration and no host cocktails begin at 5pm Saturday, August 29, 2009.  Followed by dinner, dancing, lots of fun and camaraderie!!!

Location:  Our headquarters is at the Marriott Hotel, La Jolla, CA
4240 La Jolla Village Drive,  La Jolla CA. 92037
 

Hotel Accommodations:  $149.00 per night double occupancy

 Dress:  Saturday Evening "Dressy Casual." 

Activities:  The Class is planning a sensational, fun evening for Saturday night of dinner and dancing, shared with friends and loved ones who have filled our life with the greatest of memories.  

Sunday, August 30, 2009, finds us packing up for a picnic for great fun with old friends.  Everyone bring your own , blankets, umbrellas, etc. (don't forget the sunscreen). More info to follow at a later date.

Remembrance Book:  We plan to send the Remembrance Book to all classmates and there is no cost except for a  postage fee.  Even if you think you may not be able to attend the Reunion, please send in some information about yourself, along with a photo. You might not realize it, but people really do want to know what happened to you.  The deadline for getting information into the Remembrance Book  will be announced later, so please read the Remembrance  instructions carefully and soon!

Get Involved!:  There are still opportunities for you to get involved in the reunion planning!  There are be two special opportunities for you to be a part of the planning! 

First:  To help encourage classmates to attend our 50th Reunion...

 We would love to see you all attend the class of 1959's  50th Reunion. Check out our "Missing Alumni List" and see if you know where any of these people are?  You may also view the missing alumni list on our website.

Second:  Saturday evening the Class will hold a Silent Auction.  If you would be interested in participating. 
 If you have any other ideas for how you’d like to help, please contact Cindy.
